Winter food is certainly the go at the hut at the moment.
Monday: Beef and mushroom pie with peas.
Tuesday: Ham hock and vegetable soup.
Wednesday: Beef stew on tagliatelle.
Thursday: Beef stew with mash and silverbeet.
Friday: A bowl of mashed potato! (I missed out on the food at the Crib championship as I arrived late. So found some leftover mash in the fridge).
Saturday: Roast chicken with potato, fennel, pumpkin and silverbeet. With an apple and mincemeat crumble for dessert (will post the recipe tomorrow).
Sunday: Chicken and pumpkin risotto with rocket salad (from our garden).

It certainly is that time of year! This all looks warming and delicious.
Yep, I had mashed potatoe for lunch today and making some more tonight so I can have it again tomorrow! Nothing nicer than creamy mashed potatoe on a very cold and rainy day! Keep warm! x
Still sounds as good as on IG!!!
Can't wait for that recipe :-)
Mashed potatoes for dinner sounds... different but potatoes are yummy, so I guess it works?!
Your vegie soup looks so colourful! What was in it? I always look forward to your Monday posts :)
It was a bit too colourful actually!
As well as the ham there was some red cabbage and it stained the whole thing pink! hmmm
