Yesterday we had a birthday party for a friend of ours at the block.
His favourite food- lasagne.
An excuse to make a number cake with chocolate crackle spiders.
He loved his adventure bag (thanks for the idea Michelle)- filled with walky talkies, bug catcher, compass, whistle, spork, pencils, notebook, handlens, specimen jars, TreeFlip, Hat, and army canteen.
Then they helped us plant some Pin Oaks, one each, a race to see whose will grow the fastest!
