A parcel arrived at NICU today: addressed to Maggie and Elisabeth from the lovely ladies at the CWA at Ranelagh. Inside were two tiny wee hand knitted hats. They're perfect.
Thank you. It cheered us up today.
I'd love to know who made and sent them, and yes when the girls are big we will come and visit!

Ooooh that is SOO sweet. You can tell those hats are made with SO much love! And they always remind of Fruit Tingles.
Sending you lots of love gorgeous awesome mama xxx
Love to the CWA x
Its our pleasure. I dropped them off and one of the other members, Jean, knitted them for me to bring. We also donated two breast pumps to the Prem baby unit today with funds raised during our 60th Anniversary Celebrations.
I hope all is going well for you all.
It would be nice to see you all one friday when you get the girls home.
I enjoy reading your blog and look forward to your updates.
I had to google cwa! We have a similar organisation here in ireland, the ICA. And there is also a Ranelagh in Dublin. Small world really. Beautiful hats.
How lovely. Beautiful little hats.
A belated but sincere congratulations to Rob and yourself on the arrival of Maggie and Elisabeth.
Cheers Steve
23 years ago 0000 clothes were very hard to find. I was so lucky that my mother was able to change patterns and knit baby clothes for my daughter.Every now and then I take them out and just look at them.
I'm sure you and Rob will be doing the same thing in years to come.
Oh, so much love poured into those wee hats, Marian. Can't wait to see the girls in them. J x
That is so touching, isn't it? People are kind and good.
So pleased about Maggie reaching the 1 kg mark. Brilliant. I've never made a Guinness cake but might just give it a whirl in her honour. and Elisabeth as well of course! Much love xxx
