"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013"

Maggie: she has had an amazing week. We visited their paediatrician on Wednesday, which included a physio session. Maggie could sit, but very unsteadily, and she was trying to crawl, but could only move her knees forward once before collapsing on her tummy. Yesterday she worked out crawling and is scooting all over the rug, giving little excited noises as she does. She has also become very vocal this week, and is very keen on her solids. Go Maggie.

Elisabeth: poor sweet girl has been unwell. A croaky voice, a slight temperature, clingy, and very sleepy. Yes, her teeth have come through, but both the paediatrician and our GP could not find any sign of infection, but think she has a virus, so she has to ride it out. So do we. Physio was amazed by her mobility, crawling, pulling to stand, sitting down, kneeling, she said she acts more like a 10 month old than the 8 month corrected she is. This was taken during her kitchen sink bath last night. Not sure she approved of the water over her head!
