Maggie: The girls loved a big cardboard box that Rob let them play in for some months. Unfortunately one wild and stormy night it flew off the verandah and got a bit soggy. He came home from work with a new box, and the girls are delighted. Maggie surprised us with starting to take a few steps this week.

Happy Mother's Day. I meant to write another reflection on motherhood, but haven't found a moment so far. We have had a quiet day, enjoying each other's company after a trip up north to visit Rob's mum yesterday. We went out for a lovely lunch together.
