Hi Sarah, I'm being greedy, we already have a donvier (that I paid $140 for) but this will increase our ice-cream making capacity, that and the 2nd hand upright freezer we just purchased! ;) they're really easy to use and are not electric, thoroughly recommend one.
You always have the best looking weekly dinners! Ha and I am with Sarah I was looking at the ice cream makers in habitat today $129! Definitely must get one this summer....if we ever get a summer!
It has an insert bowl which contains some special fluid, that you chill down overnight. Then once you've made your mix it goes into the outside plastic tub and then just churn using a paddle attached to the handle. Very simple, just got to remember to stir as it can freeze very quickly.
