Snap it {water}

Water to me is the beach.
We don't get there as often as we should. Particularly as Nigella and Claudia love it.

But in picking some images for this weeks Snap it, I went straight back to the 2008 folder. Long before we even thought of a second German Shepherd. We always head up to north-east Tasmania to visit a friend at Christmas, and he has a dog called Genghis. Nigella and Genghis have always been great mates. We always take them to the long dog beach nearby and they go nuts running in and out of the water, chasing each other, or other dogs, chasing sticks. It never fails to make us smile.

These are a classic series of their antics, and this only touches the surface in terms of the number of photos we have of them together.

Oh Hazel, I love these photographs. Those honds look so happy. When Louis was one year old I knew I was destined for number two, so came Hugo. The dogs make our lives fun! Super photographs! And that pumpkin soup recipe, I'm trying it on the weekend at the beach house.

oh how I love your dogs! I can sense the fun they're having. I hope to have some dogs someday. We went to an off-leash dog beach recently which was a lot of fun.

I'm joining snap it:)

Great images! Jack loves the beach so much! Rain, hail or shine! I could watch him chase the waves for hours!

Hazel, these are great shots. Love dogs playing on the beach. Our Wogan used to love it, but I think he likes Melbourne's park now almost as much.

Beautiful photos Hazel! So much fun! I always love watching dogs play in the water, they're so at ease and free when getting wet like that xo

This reminds me not only of my beach upbringing in Sydney but 1 day when i watched a dog all day and marvelled at how natural and free and at ease they were compared to us humans.
